How to build (adaptive/responsive) online communities with Drupal 7

Developing a successful online community using Drupal depends on some key ingredients, from knowing your audience to monitoring its sustainability and growth.

BrightLemon will be sharing this well-practiced recipe which can enhance the communities success and delivery.

BrightLemon are experts in developing online communities using Drupal and we will share some key hurdles which can be easily avoided when developing with Drupal 7.

With a step by step guide, we will demonstrate our tried and tested strategy for community development and will share some key issues found through trial and error - so you can avoid them.

The session will also pay particular attention to responsive design. Its popularity within the Drupal community has now made it a standard requirement for many Drupal 7 projects. We will discuss how it should be integrated and the benefits it can bring.

This session is related to an article Leon Tong wrote for .NET magazine, titled – Build your own social network.

We also have case studies to demonstrate integration with salesforce, and adaptive and responsive theming for mobile and tablet.

Based on the session description, it sounds more like a Site Building session than a Coding and Development session. What types of code examples will you be showing the audience?

I agree with robeano

This sounds much more like "building and configuring" than writing custom code, so I think this has been proposed for the wrong category, but it *does* look interesting as a proposal for the "site builder" track.
