With Drupal7's plugable class architecture (i.e., fields and queues), we can easily swap Drupal's underlying data storage. MongoDB is a high performance NoSQL database that is significantly faster than mysql for reads and writes.
Let's flock together for a practical session on MongoDB and Drupal.
